Malaysian youth group to perform in Dubai for first time

Dubai: Malaysian expatriates in the UAE will get a chance to witness cultural performances of the Permata Seni or Jewels of the Arts group on July 13, 14, and 15.

Permata Seni, composed of young Malaysian musicians and artists aged 6 to 15, will showcase the arts and culture of Malaysia’s multiracial population through performances at the Modhesh World for the Dubai Summer Surprises on Friday, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on July 14, and at the Institute of Applied Technology in Al Qusais on July 15.

Malaysian Consul General Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said that the Permata Seni’s performances in Dubai will be the first in the Middle East region.
