Dubai: NMC Royal Hospital at Dubai Investments Park was recently awarded a health services contract to operate a clinic at IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai.
IMG Worlds, the world’s largest indoor theme park, caters to hundreds of thousands of visitors and employs over 1,500 staff members.
Under the contract, NMC will provide care in emergency cases via licensed and qualified medical staff rendering primary care and preventive and occupational health services.
The first-aid post will operate from Sunday through Saturday from 8am till midnight and provide for on-site first aid tools. It will also train the workers on treatment of similar cases. Moreover, the post will be classifying injuries and refer them, according to degree of severity, to a higher centre.
NMC will also be developing suitable programmes to support the objectives of the government and health authority and “enliven” international health days and seasons.
Prasanth Manghat, NMC Health CEO and executive director, said: “NMC Health is committed to working with the country’s key stakeholders to help foster economic growth through promoting healthy lifestyle and prevention as the best medicine. NMC Health believes quality health care is a fundamental right of every citizen, and we partner with every patient to ensure they receive the best-in-class health care services they deserve. We are grateful to the officials of the IMG Worlds for selecting us to look after the health of its visitors, guests and employees.”
Lennard Otto, IMG Worlds CEO, said: “IMG Worlds of Adventure is always striving to further develop and enhance the overall service, facilities and experience for our guests, and partnering with a global brand like NMC allies perfectly with our partnership strategy. NMC will not only provide medical services to our guests and staff, but will also form part of one of our key sponsors and strategic alliances. We look forward to providing that extra level of care to all of our guests visiting IMG Worlds of Adventure.”
