Abu Dhabi: The UAE’s space mission to Mars will be launched from Japan in 2020, with the announcement being made on Tuesday during a UAE-Japan cooperation ceremony held in Abu Dhabi.

As part of the agreement, the Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Centre has signed a deal with Japanese multinational company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, who will produce the rocket that will launch the Mars Hope spacecraft.
