UAE, Moldova sign agreement on visa-free travel

Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mihai Popșoi, in Abu Dhabi to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual visa exemption.

Under the agreement, Emirati citizens are now exempt from requiring a visa to enter Moldova, marking a significant step in facilitating travel and strengthening people-to-people ties between the two nations.

The meeting also focused on boosting bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across economic, commercial, and investment sectors, aligning with the development ambitions of both friendly countries.

Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the UAE’s commitment to building strong, advanced partnerships with Moldova, aiming to enhance collaboration in key sectors to drive sustainable economic growth and comprehensive development for both nations.
