Dubai: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai is urging all Dubai companies to use the e-service online system only instead of manual application for residency issuance, renewal, work permits and visit visa applications, which will be mandatory starting from September 1.

The rules apply for all companies operating in Dubai no matter how many workers they employ.

Previously, registration was open at two external branches, but now the number of offices has increased to 10 in addition to the GDRFA headquarters.

Companies can register at the e-service online system at the Establishments’ Department at the GDRFA-Dubai headquarters or at the external branches of the GDRFA-Dubai, including new Al Twar Centre, Al Manara Centre, Festival Centre, Al Arabi Centre, Al Khail Mall Centre, Dnata Centre, JLT Centre, Dubai Airport Free Zone Centre, Bin Souqat Centre, DEWA Centre.

Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Surour, Acting Director of GDRFA said yesterday that all companies are required to register for the online e-service systems before using the GDRFA service before the end of August as the registration with the online services is mandatory.

“The evolution of the GDRFA services into e-services is part of our efforts to improve and ease services and procedures for customers,” he said.
