Projects costing Dh65m set out in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Municipality is undertaking projects to upgrade roads, tunnels and lighting networks in the capital

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi City Municipality is undertaking maintenance projects exceeding Dh65 million to upgrade the city’s infrastructure, it announced today.

The projects will include maintenance works in Musaffah and Mohammad Bin Zayed City, as well as maintenance, refurbishment works of internal roads, replacing lighting poles and fixtures in the greater, mainland Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Island.

The municipality said the projects will have a significant role in improving the performance of roads and tunnel networks and lighting as well as improving traffic safety to align it with the emirate’s world-class standards.

The municipality added that the projects will contribute to enhancing the capacity and the prescribed lifetime of municipal assets.
