Police test environment-friendly bike

Dubai: Colonel Yousuf Al Adedi, director of the Naif Police Station, has tested an environment-friendly electric bike to be used in security patrols in the centre’s jurisdiction.

After experiencing the electric bike, Colonel Al Adedi said it was suitable for specialised security work in cramped locations as a back-up for police patrols, while extending services to both nationals and residents in the area. He added that the bike can also be used by traffic personnel in tourism, trade, historical and heritage locations.
