Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday received at Al Bahr Palace Islamic scholars participating in the “Promoting Peace in Muslim societies” forum.
Shaikh Mohammad spoke with the scholars about the forum’s various activities and events, as well as its role in combating extremist ideas that breach tolerant Islamic principles, and enhancing the true image of Islam and its values that call for tolerance, moderation, justice, coexistence, peace and love.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development and other Shaikhs and senior officials.
