Abu Dhabi Educational Zone announced yesterday the schedule for Arabic language and Islamic studies exams for Grade 12 students in private schools in the emirate and Western region.
Arab and non-Arab students will sit for Islamic-studies exams on June 19, starting at 10 am. On June 20, Arabic-language exam will be held at 10am (Arab and non-Arab students) and 12.15pm (only Arab students).
The exams will be held at Mohammed bin Khalifa School for male students and Al Dana School for female students.
Speaking at a meeting with the schools' directors here yesterday, Nadia Maddi, director of private education department at the Abu Dhabi educational zone, said these exams will be open to those students who have already finished Grade 12, but did not take these two exams.
They have to present three documents: the Grade 12 certificate accredited by the educational zone, a copy of their passport copy and two photographs.

Training in naval technology
The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Australian Naval College of Technology (ANCT) to provide training for students in naval technology.
Present at the signing ceremony were Australian Ambassador, Noel Campbell, ANCT representative Kim Chield, HCT Director James Horton and Director of the Men's College of the HCT Dr. Tayyeb Kamali.
