Dubai: UAE authorities rescued three individuals, including two Emirati citizens and a European woman, following separate motorbike accidents within 24 hours.

The Ministry of Interior shared on social media that the Air Ambulance teams of the Air Wing Department, under the General Directorate of Security Support, successfully assisted in these rescues.

The incidents involved a European woman and two Emirati citizens who suffered severe injuries in separate motorcycle accidents and required urgent air evacuation.

In the first case, a 31-year-old European woman was injured in a nighttime motorcycle crash in the Al Badayer desert area of Sharjah. She was airlifted to Al Dhaid Hospital for immediate medical care.

The second incident involved a 28-year-old Emirati man in the Al Rafadah area of Sharjah. Upon receiving a report from Sharjah Police, the Air Wing transported him to Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah for treatment.

The third rescue was of a 21-year-old Emirati man whose motorcycle overturned at night. Following an emergency call from Sharjah Police, the Air Wing airlifted him to Al Dhaid Hospital for necessary care.

These operations were carried out by the Air Ambulance teams of the Air Wing Department, under the Ministry of Interior's General Directorate of Security Support.
