Sharjah: Four people were rescued after their boat capsized off the coast of Sharjah, the National Guard Command said on Sunday.

In a social media post, the authority said the Coast Guard successfully undertook a rescue operation 17 nautical miles from Hamriyah Port, saving a UAE citizen and three Asian nationals.

The team located the distressed boat and provided the four persons with first aid. The individuals rescued were reported to be in stable health.
