Dubai: Private schools in Dubai will reopen for the 2023-2024 academic year on August 28, Monday.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) issued the most important dates to know for school-going students in the emirate. Private schools in Dubai are required to follow this calendar.

The dates differ slightly for schools starting in April, and for those starting the academic year in September.

Dubai private schools starting in September - Academic year 2023-2024

Start of academic year: August 28, 2023

Start of winter break: December 11, 2023

Resumption of classes after winter break: January 02, 2024

Start of spring break: March 25, 2024

Resumption of classes after spring break: April 15, 2024

Academic year not to end before June 28, 2024

Resumption of classes after summer break: August 28, 2023

Start of winter break: December 11, 2023

Resumption of classes after winter break: January 02, 2024

End of academic year: March 01 - 31, 2024
