Cyclist run over by cement-mixing truck in Dubai

Dubai: A cyclist died Wednesday after being run over by a cement-mixing truck, police have said.

The victim died in Al Qouz Industrial area number four when the truck driver took a turn without making sure that the road was clear. The accident occurred in front of a Concrete mix company.

The cyclist was in his appropriate lane when the accident occurred, police said.
