Student in police net after sex in car

Dubai: An Iranian student, 19, drove naked to escape the police after they spotted him having sex in the back seat of a car, a Dubai court heard on Wednesday. He was caught after his car crashed into a roundabout and hit the police car.

Court records show that the man and woman were fondling in the car when a police officer trained his flashlight on them. The man panicked and moved to the front seat of the car, trying to flee the scene. His car then crashed into a roundabout sidewalk, a road sign and the police car.

Police officers said a resident in Al Warqa informed them of suspicious activities inside a car. When they reached the scene, the officers found them both naked in the back seat of the car. “When the suspect noticed our presence he rushed to the front seat and drove away recklessly,” an officer told the court.

The suspect’s car tyre burst and subsequently he collided with the patrol car.

The next hearing in the case is on February 2.
