Sharjah: These days, many people feel safe and don’t think twice about leaving their valuable things inside their cars. But this small mistake can make it easy for thieves to steal.

Sharjah Police recently warned people about this problem. They showed how quickly someone can steal from a car if the owner is not careful. To prove this, in real experiment  one police team member acted like a thief. He was able to take things from a car in just a few seconds, without breaking anything.

The message is simple: thieves don’t always break windows or force their way in. Sometimes, they just wait for the right moment — when someone forgets to lock their car or leaves something valuable where it can be seen.

Many people think their cars are safe, like their homes. But cars parked in public places can be easy targets. Leaving a phone, bag, or wallet on the seat — even for a short time — can attract thieves.

Sharjah Police remind everyone to always lock their cars and to keep personal items out of sight. Even if you’re just stepping away for a minute, it’s important to be careful.

Sometimes, it’s not about how smart or strong a thief is. It’s just about a simple mistake that gives them a chance.
