Dubai: Dubai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Department denied rumours circulating on social media that a drug called ‘The Joker’ is popular among children in schools.
It added that the information circulating on social media is untrue, and asked the public not to spread rumours that create panic.
It urged the public to contact the department on 800400400 if they hear or see any drug-related activities.
In September, Dubai Police quashed a rumour about a popular candy supposedly containing narcotics.
