Man found hanging from tree

Sharjah: A 46-year-old Indian national was found hanging from a tree in Al Sajja area of Sharjah, police said on Wednesday.

Police said they were investigating to determine if the man committed suicide, an official at Sharjah police told Gulf News.

The body was found on Wednesday by workers who reported the incident to the police operation room.

Officials from the Criminal Investigation Department and forensic experts inspected the scene of the incident, an official said.

The body was transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy.

Police investigation continues.
