Dubai: Medical reports indicate the suspect in the rape-murder of a four-year-old Pakistani boy is mentally stable, a court heard on Sunday.

Defence Advocate Mohammad Al Sa'adi told the court Emirati suspect R.R. was sound and responsible for his actions at the time of the incident, according to the psychiatric evaluation.

The court has adjourned the case to January 13 to hear the statement of the three doctors who prepared the report

Four-year-old M.M was found dead in the toilet of a mosque in Al Qusais on November 27, the first day of Eid Al Adha.

The 30-year-old Emirati, R.R. was then charged with premeditated killing associated with the sexual assault of the boy.
