The UAE General Authority of Civil Aviation has clarified the claim that flights from Iran were allowed to land during February and March.
A statement issued on Tuesday said landing permits were granted to certain flights for repatriating Iranian citizens stranded in the UAE during the coroanvirus crisis, as was done with other countries.
Flights that arrived had no passengers, the statement said.
