Police launch investigation into cause of victim’s death

Sharjah: A body has been found floating at sea in Sharjah, Sharjah Police confirmed on Saturday.
Police have yet to identify the victim, but have launched an investigation to find out whether the victim drowned or was murdered.
Fishermen found the body floating about 17.7 kilometres away from Khalid Port on Friday and alerted the Coast Guard and the police.
The body has been transferred to the forensics laboratory for autopsy
