Delivery rider, businessman among UAE residents who get lucky
Abu Dhabi: Three Indian expats from Kerala are among the winners of Big Ticket Abu Dhabi’s bonus draw, each taking home a cash prize of Dh150,000.
‘I have purchased only six times so far’
Abdulla Pulikkoor Mohammed, a 34-year-old delivery rider from Kerala, has been living in Abu Dhabi for the past nine years, while his family remains back home.
He has purchased Big Ticket entries only six times so far as part of a group of 12 friends and this time, luck was on his side.
“Receiving the winning call made me feel happy. I plan to split the prize money with my friends and use my share to clear some loans. Big Ticket is truly doing wonders, and I believe everyone should take part.”
‘I began purchasing seven months ago’
Salihrahman Pallipadath, a 37-year-old businessman from Kerala, has been living in Ajman with his family for the past 15 years. Although he first heard about Big Ticket two years ago, he only began purchasing tickets seven months ago, as part of a group of 11 friends.
“Receiving the winning call was a great experience – I’m truly happy. I plan to use the prize money to renew my company visa. I’ll continue purchasing from Big Ticket, and I encourage others to do the same. It’s a luck-based raffle, and everyone should keep trying.”
Meanwhile, Shaji Memana, who also hails from Kerala, bought his winning ticket online and was overjoyed upon hearing the news.
