Donation will help improve the school’s facilities for special needs children
Dubai: A UAE-based exchange house has donated Dh250,000 to Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs to help finance the improvement of its facilities for its students.
Al Ansari Exchange gave the donation to the Dubai-based non-profit organisation for children with special needs between the ages of three and 18. The donation will enable the centre to offer enhanced multi-disciplinary programmes for the nurturing and development of its students.
Rashid Ali Al Ansari, General Manager of Al Ansari Exchange, said: “Children with special needs are an integral part of our society and should be given equal opportunities to nurture their talent and develop their abilities.”
Dr Mohammad Al Redha, Board Member at Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, said the much-needed donation will positively contribute to the development of the children.
“We offer training programmes for children so that they can become financially independent individuals since we depend on corporate donations to run our organisation,” Dr Al Redha said.
Located in Al Barsha area of Dubai, Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs is being run under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs. It provides children with special needs, regardless of their background, the same opportunities through professional training and care to realise their potential and integrate them into the wider community.
