Al Ain Zoo extends opening hours for Eid

Al Ain: With the aim of offering a fun-filled holiday for its visitors Al Ain Zoo has announced extended operating hours during the Eid Al Adha holiday on top of the many exciting offerings it has for the three-day Eid celebration.

Visitors can come throughout Eid from 10am to 10pm on October 26 to 28.

As the temperature drops, the animals at the zoo have grown more and more active which makes Eid Al Adha the ideal time to experience the zoo.

Fatima Al Za’abi, Operations Manager at Al Ain Zoo, said: “We have been actively preparing our programmes and services in order to provide the best possible guest experience, and are confident that they will prove to be both enjoyable and enriching for guests of all ages.”

Al Ain Zoo welcomed a number of newborns to its family this year, including a white rhinoceros, zebra, rhim gazelles, a Chital deer, a Scimitar-horned oryx and an addax (a very rare antelope.) It recently unveiled a new hippopotamus exhibit.

Its regular opening hours will resume after the Eid holidays on October 29 from 9am to 8pm.
