A family-friendly racing season returns with a series of food and entertainment offers

Dubai: If you love horses, one of Dubai's most exciting sporting events returns this winter, bringing world-class horse racing, brilliant entertainment and fantastic food to the Meydan Racecourse.
The Dubai Racing Carnival 2025-26 season kicked off on Friday 7 November and will be running through to 13 March 2026, with 16 race meetings packed with action.
You don’t need to be a racing expert to enjoy this one. Tickets start from just Dh10 for general admission, which gets you access to the spacious viewing areas with excellent views of the track and plenty of food choices. Whether you're planning a family day out, a corporate event or simply fancy dressing up for a stylish evening, there's something for everyone.
The carnival isn't just about horses crossing the finish line. Expect live music, fashionable crowds and multiple food options. Gates open at 4pm, restaurants start serving at 5pm, and the first race kicks off at 5.30pm. There's even a children's village running from 4pm to 10pm, making it perfect for families.
Get closer to the action than ever before with exclusive access to some of Meydan's most exciting behind-the-scenes spots. VIP hospitality guests can step into the Parade Ring for an up-close look at the horses and jockeys, whilst all visitors can stop by the Saddling Garden to watch the final preparations before each race. It's an intimate glimpse into the heart of the sport.
Mark your calendar for three special feature nights that promise extra excitement. Festive Friday on 19 December brings Christmas cheer to the track, whilst Fashion Friday on 23 January celebrates style and elegance. Then there's Emirates Super Saturday on 28 February, building anticipation for the grand finale.
The season ends with the Dubai World Cup on 28 March, offering a massive $30.5 million prize. It's one of the richest horse racing events in the world, attracting top international trainers, jockeys and horses.
Food lovers are spoilt for choice. The Winner's Circle Restaurant, run by the Michelin-guide listed Masti, offers Indian-inspired gourmet dining from Dh595, with stunning views of the track and Parade Ring.
If you want to be closer to the action the new Trackside Restaurant puts you in the front row for Dh795, where you can enjoy canapés and seasonal drinks before tucking into a delicious main menu.
For those seeking luxury, The MAINE takes over Suite 401 on feature race days. From Dh1,195, enjoy five hours of treats including fresh sushi, and carved prime ribs with multiple drinks options.
Lastly for those who are looking for good value seating, head to the Paddock Garden by the home stretch for just Dh75.
The fun doesn't stop at the finish line. From the fan-favourite Faces at the Races competition to cash prizes, the Pick 7 prediction game and even car giveaways, there are more ways than ever to be part of the winning circle.
Combining racing and shopping, celebrate craftsmanship and creativity at the Millinery Exhibition, coming to Meydan in January 2026. Explore beautiful designs from world-renowned hat makers and even buy your perfect race-day piece.
Parking opens at 3.30pm, so arrive early to soak up the atmosphere. For a truly special experience, book the Breakfast Stable Tour and go behind the scenes to see how these champion horses live and train, followed by a premium buffet breakfast.
