UAE name 14-player squad as race for ACC U19 Asia Cup qualification begins in Ajman

Dubai: The Emirates Cricket Board has announced a 14-member UAE squad for the ACC Premier Cup U19 (50 overs), with all-rounder Yayin Rai appointed captain for the tournament taking place in Ajman from November 21. The top three teams will secure places in the next ACC U19 Asia Cup.
Fourteen teams will compete across four groups. The UAE has been drawn in Group B alongside Kuwait and Bahrain.
The team opens its campaign against Kuwait on Monday, November 24 at the Karwan Ground, followed by a fixture against Bahrain on Wednesday, November 26 at the Seven Districts Ground.
Group winners will advance to the semi-finals scheduled for Saturday, November 29 at Karwan Ground and Seven Districts Ground. The third-place playoff and final will be held on Monday, December 1 at the same venues.
UAE Squad: Yayin Rai (captain), Ahmed Khodadad, Aliasgar Shums, Ayaan Misbah, Karan Dhiman, Madhav Manoj, Naseem Khan, Noorullah Ayobi, Prithvi Madhu, Rayan Khan, Saleh Amin, Uddish Suri, Yug Sharma, Zainullah Rahmani.

November 24: UAE vs Kuwait, 9:00am, Karwan Ground
November 26: UAE vs Bahrain, 9:00am, Seven Districts Ground
November 29: Semi-finals
December 1: Third-place match and final
