Watch: Fire erupts in hotel where IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad were staying

Dubai: A minor fire erupted this morning at a luxury hotel in Hyderabad where the players of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team were staying. The fire reportedly started in a spa located on the first floor spread quickly sending thick smoke across the corridors.

Firefighters immediately reached the spot and brought it under control.

The players were evacuated and authorities confirmed there were no injuries reported, according to Indian media. The players were then shifted in private buses amidst high security by the hotel management and police personnel.

Even the pre-release function for the upcoming Telugu movie 'Odela 2' was scheduled to be held here this evening.
