Dubai: Youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been the talk of the town since scoring the sizzling century in the Indian Premier League that broke several records recently.

Among the several applauds the 14-year-old received, a praise came from an unlikely corner.

McLaren Formula One driver Oscar Piastri posted a story on his social media, praising Vaibhav's knock. He put the No 14 on an batting picture of Vaibhav with a clap emoji. It is a repost of Rajasthan Royals' video revisiting the star player's batting.

The young Rajathan opener smashed a fiery century off just 35 deliveries to break the record for the quickest IPL century by an Indian. Scoring at the age of 14 made him the youngest ever to reach the milestone in T20 cricket.

The left-hander smashed 11 sixes and seven fours during his stunning display against Gujarat Titans’ potent bowling attack to hand Rajasthan Royals an eight-wicket win in Jaipur.
