Dubai: After retiring from Tests and then finishing off a successful Indian Premier League campaign with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Virat Kohli enjoying his time at his home in England.

With Team India also in England for the five-match Test series that begins on June 20 in Leeds, Kohli invited a few select members of the Indian team to his London home.

According to RevSportz, the 36-year-old spent some quality time before the cricketers returned to their hotels.

Team India had an off day on Monday after the conclusion of the intra-squad match in Kent, so the players were available for a meet-up with Kohli.

Despite not much came out of the meeting, it is assumed that Kohli met the members just to motivate them ahead of the big series. It would now be interesting to see if Kohli would be present at Headingley for the opening Test.

Retirement shock

Kohli's retirement stunned the entire cricket fraternity since the star cricketer looked all fit to continue for a few more years. It was further difficult to digest considering the call came ahead of an important series against England.

With both Rohit Sharma and Kohli retiring the focus is now completely on India's newly-appointed captain Gill. The youngster will be for sure under pressure but given his prior experience of playing in England and also captaining in the IPL should help him ease his nerves.
