Look: How Sharjah Ruler celebrated his birthday

Dubai: A photo has gone viral of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

UAE residents sent their well-wishes and congratulatory messages to the Sharjah Ruler on the occasion of his birthday.

Members of Sharjah’s ruling family first posted the photos of Shaikh Sultan cutting chocolate cake as he wore an apron that was embroidered with the words: “Grandad. King of the Barbeque.”

Shaikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) posted the endearing photo, accompanied with the caption “Happy Birthday Dad.”

Another photo that captured the hearts of residents, which portrayed the ruler’s more playful side, showed Shaikh Sultan grilling a skewer of meat over the barbeque.
