Dubai: Dubai is just over a month away before its much-awaited shopping festival kicks off this December 26.

The 23rd edition of the monthlong Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) will pilot with a 12-hour sale on the first day, promising shoppers further discounts on already discounted products across six citywide Majid Al Futtaim Malls.

The 12-hour sale is unique to DSF and takes place from noon to midnight at select outlets throughout the city, organisers said.

The shopping bonanza will run until January 27, 2018 complete with retail promotions, pop-up fashion shows, fireworks displays, mega sales and, opportunity to win prizes — from luxury cars and gold to cash at the daily mega raffles, and so much more.

The Market OTB at Burj Park is back to give shoppers a chance to get items from emerging designers and learn celebrity make-up tips and tricks. More than 80 local and international emerging brands will be available in a fresh outdoor retail environment at Burj Park.

Aside from shopping, residents and tourists may also enjoy a packed line-up of music, drama and dance performances at Market OTB.

Those who want to chill out in the sunshine may grab a book and head to Park Central or catch the latest documentary in the pop-up cinema.

Dubai’s night sky will glitter every weekend for a month with a series of spectacular fireworks displays at different locations including Global Village, The Beach at JBR and Dubai Creek.

A whole line of concerts by international and regional stars are also being prepared to keep residents and tourists entertained, plus a range of free-to-attend family-oriented activities in malls, and retail activities themed under beauty and perfume, gold and jewellery, and apparel and fashion platforms.
