Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Standing Committee for Labour Affairs in the Emirate of Dubai to enhance their health and safety.
Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of the DHA, reassured that the UAE has established laws and regulations that ensure the rights of workers and their overall wellbeing and safety, which has enabled it to embrace more than 200 nationalities from all over the world.
He added that all the laws and regulations that safeguard the rights of workers are based on the values that characterise the UAE society. The efforts to safeguard workers’ rights are also based on the origins of the state and its culture, which is based on the principles of coexistence.
