Abu Dhabi: The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will now offer outpatient medical services in Al Ain through its first branch outside the capital.
The facility, located within the Tawam Hospital campus, is part of the health care network by Abu Dhabi Government-owned holding company, Mubadala.
Patients can benefit from consultant-led primary care and advanced imaging services in the fields of general medicine, cardiology, digestive diseases, neurology, pulmonology, as well as bariatric, cardiac and general surgery.
Patients who need surgery or a longer-term care programme, and those requiring multidisciplinary care, will be transferred to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s main facility in the capital after initial consultations.
“Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi – Al Ain is our first facility outside our main campus in the heart of [the capital], and it reflects the increasing demand across the UAE and wider region for the expertise of our multispeciality physicians and our patients-first approach to health care,” said Dr Rakesh Suri, chief executive officer at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
