Dubai: UAE leaders offered their condolences to the martyrs’ families across the UAE as they visited the mourning tents, WAM reported yesterday.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met the families of martyrs in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Shaikh Mohammad, accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, visited the mourning tents for martyrs Obaid Saif Al Kaabi and Abdullah Saeed Shaikhan Al Kalbani in Masfout area in Ajman.

He extended his condolences to the parents and brothers of the two martyrs and asked Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon them and place them in paradise.

Shaikh Mohammad then headed to Kalba where he met families of martyrs Hamed Mohammad Abbas Al Beloushi and Mohammad Esmail Mohammad Yousuf.

He also went to Fujairah where he visited the mourning majlis for Jasem Saeed Abdullah Al Saadi and offered condolences before proceeding to Dibba where he met families of martyrs Waleed Ahmad Ali Al Dhanhani and Khalifa Abdullah Mohammad Al Suraidi.

Shaikh Mohammad later headed to Wadi Al Sird in Fujairah where he extended condolences to the family of martyr Mohammad Saeed Rashid Al Suraidi before proceeding to Al Taween area where he visited the mourning tents for martyrs Khalifa Mohammad Saeed Al Yamahi and Rashid Saeed Mohammad Al Yamahi.

Shaikh Mohammad then headed to Ras Al Khaimah where he offered condolences to the family of martyr Obaid Saeed Al Mazroui in the Azen area.

Shaikh Mohammad said the leadership and people of the UAE are proud of the martyrs’ sacrifice and devotion of the sons of the nation who answered the call of duty.

“Their sacrifice will always remain etched in the hearts and minds of the leadership and people of the UAE and in the record of honour of our Armed Forces,” he said.

He said martyrdom was a true embodiment of the concept of military service and its noble meaning of honour, sacrifice and devotion in defence of the right. He stressed, “They are a source of pride and glory for our leadership and people and for their families who sacrificed their loved ones to keep the nation’s flag high and to maintain stability and peace in Arab countries and the security of its peoples.”

“Glory and immortality be to our martyrs and dignity and loftiness be to our people. May Allah bestow His patience and solace upon us,” he concluded.

In Sharjah, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, extended his condolences to the families of martyr Waleed Mohammad Ali Al Yasi, Ahmad Gulam Abdul Karim Lingawi in the Nouf area, and Yousuf Hassan Yousuf Al Obaidli in Tarfana area.

In Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, also visited the families of martyrs Al Shatti Abdullah Al Sayyad, Mohammad Ahmad Al Shehi, Adel Saleh Al Shehi, Abdullah Omar Al Jaberi, Ali Hussain Al Beloushi, Yousuf Abdullah Al Ali and Ali Hassan Al Shehi.

In Al Ain, His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, visited Hili area of Al Ain and met the family of the martyr.

In Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, extended his deepest condolences to the family of Saeed Obaid Bin Fadil Al Ali.
