16 drug dealers nabbed from 3 places in five days
The suspects were arrested from RAK, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi
Ras Al Khaimah: A total of 16 drug dealers were arrested in Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi after officers found narcotic substances in their possession.
Colonel Adnan Ali Al Za’abi, director-general of the Ras Al Khaimah Police’s Anti-Narcotics Department, said authorities started investigations after receiving information about illegal activities being carried out by the suspects who stayed in five different places in Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The suspects were promoting crystal drugs to people in the emirates. The drug peddlers were arrested over a period of five days after traps were laid in cooperation with Anti-Narcotics Departments in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The suspects had allegedly smuggled narcotic substances into the country.
