Sharjah: The Sharjah Criminal Court heard the case of a teenage who misused his Instagram account for sexual and prostitution purpose.
A case has been registered against the teenager for allegedly uploading pornographic videos and photos on his Instagram account and asking for sexual relations.
Ali Al Mansouri, lawyer of one the accused, told Gulf News the 18-year-old accused, a Gulf national, was caught after the Sharjah Criminal Investigation Department was tipped off about his illegal activity. After verifying the information, the police arrested the Sharjah resident and recovered his mobile phones containing the obscene videos.
Al Mansouri mentioned that the teenager was good in studies and got 90 per cent marks in the secondary school. He is a first-year engineering student but bad friends led him to this fate. The court will issue its verdict in the case this week.
