Dubai: Two female suspects have been arrested for allegedly stealing purses, mobiles and jewellery from female shoppers in Dubai malls.
The two female suspects, described as being from an Arab country, are accused of pursuing other women in malls and pick-pocketing jewellery, mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of money.
Captain Ali Ahmad Al Suwaidi, the Trade Centre's Investigative Head at the General Investigation Department at Dubai Police, said the two women, who wore the Arabic veil to conceal themselves, carried out their alleged crimes in other emirates before coming to Dubai.
