Dubai: The COVID-19 vaccine is now available at 120 locations in Dubai, according to an announcement by the Dubai Media Office on January 17.

The number of vaccination centres was increased following a growing demand from people to get vaccinated, the Dubai Media Office said.

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) also said that it has set up the One Central COVID-19 Vaccination Centre at the Dubai World Trade Centre, which has the capacity to serve 4,000 people per day.

If you would like to book an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine, you can do so by logging on to the DHA smartphone application ‘DHA’ or by calling the authority’s toll-free number 800 342.

Who can get the vaccine?

In the current phase of the vaccine rollout, authorities are targeting specific groups, including senior citizens and residents (over the age of 60), frontline workers, those with chronic diseases and people of determination. The next phase of the vaccination drive will see more centres being set up to offer the health service anyone choosing to vaccinate.
