How do I report a car accident?

These steps are according to Dubai Police’s website – dubaipolice.gov.ae:
- Go to the menu tab, which is on the right.
- Click on ‘Services’.
- Scroll down to ‘Traffic Services.’
- Choose the third service option: ‘How to reissue a lost traffic accident report in Dubai.’
- Click on the green tab labelled, ‘Access Service’.
- Fill up the application form, by providing your Emirates ID number, licence number and email address.
- Submit request.
- After submitting the application form, you will receive a transaction number via SMS and email.
- You will receive the certificate and receipt on your registered email address.
Applying through the Dubai Police app:
- Download the Dubai Police app, available on the IOS App Store and Google Play.
- Open the app, go the menu tab which is on the bottom of the screen.
- Click on ‘Services’.
- Scroll down to ‘Traffic Services’, which is the third category.
- Choose the second service ‘Reissuing Traffic Accident.’
- Fill up the application form and follow the steps mentioned above to complete the service.
