Now that the Lykan Hypersport has been seen around the world, UAE motoring enthusiasts are looking for the next best thing. W Motors’ response?

The Fenyr SuperSport, which is being unveiled at the Dubai International Motor Show on November 10. If it’s a motor show in your own backyard, makes sense you’d want to unveil a new car.

A dark photograph of a cloaked vehicle was released to social media websites over the weekend, accompanied by the words, “The earth will shake violently, trees will be uprooted, mountains will fall and all blinds will snap – Fenyr will be free.”

What does that ominous warning portend?

Ralph Debbas, CEO of W Motors, was quoted by carbuzz.com as saying the second supercar will offer more ferocious performance than the Hypersport, but that it will come without many of the latter’s fancy gizmos such as diamond-encrusted headlights and holographic interior display.

Rumour has it that the car will be made from lightweight carbon fibre to keep its weight down, and it is expected to house a Porsche-derived 3.7-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine developed by RUF that will reportedly produce over 1,000hp.

Only 25 models are to be created, each retailing at $1 million (Dh3.67 million), a far cry from the Lykan’s shop price of $3.4 million.

Whether it'll match the Lykan's reported ability to go from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds remains to be determined.

Either way, that shouldn’t make them any less desirable! In June, the Abu Dhabi police purchased a Lykan, so we're wondering who's got their early orders in for this little number!
