Theatres are buzzing as Ayan Mukerji’s War 2 explodes onto the big screen, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, in a high-octane chapter of the YRF Spy Universe. With a reported Rs 300 crore budget and day-one noon collections already touching Rs 11 crore, advance bookings hit ₹20 crore, the film’s arrival has been nothing short of an event.

From the moment Hrithik’s Kabir 2.0 makes his whistle-worthy entry, War 2 shifts into overdrive. The opening car chase in Spain, the dance face-off between Roshan and NTR, and the pulse-pounding parking lot fight keep adrenaline levels sky-high. Fans are calling the musical showdown 'NTR’s best duet after Naatu Naatu.'

The second half digs deeper into Kabir’s emotional core. His bond with Colonel Luthra (Anil Kapoor) adds gravitas, while Kiara Advani brings warmth and softness to the world. As one fan put it, “This is the most character-driven entry in the Spyverse, and Hrithik owns every frame.”

Not everyone is equally impressed, though. Some call it “strictly mid,” with criticisms about pacing, over-the-top sequences (one fan joked that Mukerji treats a private jet “like a public bus”), and a lack of crackling hero chemistry compared to Roshan's camaraderie with Tiger Shroff in War (2019). A few NTR loyalists have voiced disappointment, feeling the Telugu superstar doesn’t get enough standout moments, though others are thrilled with his confident screen presence and impactful action beats.

Still, for many, the film delivers a full paisa-vasool package: action, style, drama, and emotional heft. As one ecstatic fan summed it up: “Probably the best Bollywood-template action film so far… Dil ki demand par watch it!”

With early box office numbers surging and audience chatter in overdrive, War 2 seems poised to be the next big talking point in the Spyverse — a fiery clash of talent, style, and scale.
