Dubai: If you’re someone who loves action or thriller movies, this film franchise is for you.

HIT, the action-thriller film series follows the protagonist, a HIT officer who investigates crimes. The first film in the franchise, HIT: The First Case stars Rajkumar Rao as the protagonist, while the second film, HIT: The Second Case stars Adivi Sesh in the whodunit (Who did it?) thriller film.

In the third movie, HIT: The Third Case or HIT 3, stars Nani, who is also known as the Natural Star in the Telugu film industry.

For someone who has watched Nani’s films over the years, this one shocked and surprised me and is sure to surprise you as well.

The actor proved he has a vast range and can play any role he signs up for.

The actor, popular for his roles in Telugu-language films Eega (Fly), Jersey, Hi Nanna and more, stood out in this extremely gruesome and violent film. It truly was a one man show.

Nani plays a Homicide Intervention Team or HIT officer, Arjun Sarkaar, who is sent to Jammu and Kashmir where he comes across a gruesome murder. Upon further investigation he realises it’s happening across the country. He pursues the group of killers, which tests his skills and mental strength.

While the first half of the movie builds the tension, the second half slows it down. But the last ten minutes of the film, however, is sure to leave you surprised and excited for what’s to come.

Nani takes on several antagonist, including Prateik Smita Patil, the “Alpha”. While Nani stands out in his role throughtout the entirety of the film, Prateik falls short in certain parts.

But don’t just brush off this film series based on this short review. Watch all three films this weekend and decide for yourself, which one you like best.
