Telugu film ‘Maaya’ to be remade in Kannada

Telugu thriller Maaya, which released recently and has been received well, will soon be remade in Kannada.

“The Kannada remake rights have been bought by Sreedhar Reddy and Murugappan. In the past, they had adapted Telugu film Prema Katha Chitram in Kannada,” the film’s producer Madhura Sreedhar said.

Harshvardhan Rane-starrer Maaya is about extra-sensory perception and features newcomers Avantika Mishra, Sushma Raj and Nandini Rai in important roles.

The film is directed by National award-winning filmmaker Neelakanta.
