Mrudula Murali to make her Bollywood debut

South Indian actress Mrudula Murali has been signed on as the leading lady in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Raag Desh, which also stars Sonam Kapoor’s cousin Mohit Marwah.

“She will play the role of a real-life character in the period drama. The film will be based on the Indian National Army trials,” read a statement.

The film is also rumoured to star Kunal Kapoor in an important role.

Murali, who has starred in films such as Eisamma Enna Aankutty, Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA and Shigamani, is expected to start shooting for the project soon.
