Salman Khan, who recently watched actor-producer Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi production Yellow, is so touched with the film that he is now keen to remake it in Hindi.

“We are speaking to Riteish [Deshmukh] to make this film in Hindi,” Khan told reporters in Mumbai at the screeing of Yellow.

Khan said he will have the film’s director, Mahesh Limaye, on board for the Hindi remake and will also have Gauri Gadgil — on whom Yellow is based — in the film.

Yellow deals with children with special needs and learning differences. It features Upendra Limaye, Aishwaraya Narkar, Usha Nadkarni and Mrunal Kulkarni in key roles.
