Rajni to return

Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, who has been out of action due to his illness, will return with Kochadaiyyan, which will be the directorial debut of his daughter, Soundarya Ashwin Rajnikanth.

"The announcement- Appa's next, Kochadaiyyan. Thrilled, Grateful n excited to be directing my father, The Rajnikanth (thaliavaaaaaaaaa)," Soundarya tweeted.

Kochadaiyyan to be made in 3D will be the first with performance-capturing technology to be produced in India. James Cameron's mega hit Avatar and Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin were made with the same technology.

K.S. Ravikumar has written the story, screenplay and dialogue. He will also be the directoral supervisor for Kochadaiyaan.
