Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in expecting second child, agency confirms
The couple had welcomed their first child in February 2024
Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in are preparing to welcome their second child.
On February 12, Lee Seung Gi’s agency Big Planet Made confirmed that Lee Da In is currently five months pregnant. The couple, who married in March 2023, welcomed their first daughter in February 2024. With another baby on the way, they are set to become a family of four.
The news comes after a significant year for Seung-gi professionally.
On April 4 last year, he secured a decisive legal victory in his ongoing dispute with former agency Hook Entertainment. A Seoul court ordered the company to pay him an additional 581 million KRW (approximately 1.58 million dirhams) in unpaid settlement fees. The case drew national attention for raising broader questions about financial transparency in the Korean entertainment industry.
Seung-gi has since used his platform to advocate for clearer accountability between agencies and artists. He is associated with what has been referred to as the “Lee Seung Gi Prevention Act,” a proposed measure that would require entertainment companies to provide artists with detailed financial statements at least once a year, either in written or digital form.
At the time of the ruling, his current agency expressed hope that the decision would contribute to meaningful industry reform, particularly for younger artists navigating complex contracts.
