Shilpa launches new club

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has announced her latest venture on Twitter. She is all set to open a new club called Royalty in Mumbai, with her businessman husband Raj Kundra.

"Okay guys this is the news. Our newest venture is Royalty — the newest club in town, nearly ready, have been busy with that, so happy [that it is] nearly done," Shetty posted on Friday.

"You heard it here first as promised. Having our first party here after the Rajasthan Royals match."

Shetty's other business ventures include a wellness spa chain called Iosis and her own brand of healthy curries and poppadoms in Britain. She'll also shortly be opening a Dubai outpost of her restaurant chain.

Harman, Kareena are Bollywood's worst

Bollywood's Harman Baweja was named worst actor and Kareena Kapoor got the worst actress title on Friday night at the second annual Golden Kela awards, a spin-off on Hollywood's Razzies.

Baweja won for his performance in the dud What's Your Raashee?, and Kapoor for her role in Kambakkht Ishq.

The Rani Mukherjee-starrer Dil Bole Hadippa! won the most original story award for being copied from Hollywood's She's the Man.

Aamir not celebrating b-day

Superstar Aamir Khan won't celebrate his 45th birthday today.

"I will not be celebrating my birthday this year," he said.

According to media reports, the actor will fly to New Delhi today to rub shoulders with acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron and to discuss the future of cinema. "Yes, I am going to be in Delhi for [a] conclave where I would be meeting Cameron," Khan said.

He did not say why he won't celebrate his birthday. But a source close to him said: "He in any case doesn't believe in parties and celebrations for his birthday. Moreover, with his dad [noted filmmaker Tahir Hussain] passing away last month, he is keeping a very low profile."
