Dubai: A day after Hollywood icon Idris Elba was announced to participate at the upcoming Bridge Summit 2025, global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas will take part in the same event.

To be held at ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, Chopra's appearance adds more star wattage to the event.

What makes Priyanka Chopra Jonas truly icon-worthy on the global stage is her uncanny ability to straddle multiple worlds with enviable ease. She’s Bollywood royalty with an enviable filmography — from her National Award–winning turn in Fashion to acclaimed performances in Barfi!, Mary Kom, Bajirao Mastani, Kaminey, Don and Don 2. Each role cemented her as a performer with range, authority and star wattage.

And just when Bollywood didn’t seem big enough for her ambitions, she reset the rules by heading West. Her breakout role in the hit series Quantico made her a household name in the US, paving the way for Hollywood films and global endorsements. Today, she stands as a rare cultural crossover — a South Asian woman who changed the conversation around representation simply by refusing to be typecast.

Her appeal lies in her duality. She is glamorous yet grounded, fiercely global yet deeply connected to her Indian identity. She’s a public figure with a private compass, someone who can command a red carpet and still speak powerfully about equality, women’s rights and the need for better representation. In every phase of her career, Priyanka has shown a knack for reinvention — and that reinvention has always been on her own terms.

As she returns to the UAE for the BRIDGE Summit 2025, she brings more than star value. She brings her global audience, her cross-industry credibility, and her influence as a role model for young women who see their own possibilities mirrored in hers.
