Dam to hit screens in India

Dam 999, billed as the first international movie by mariners, is scheduled for a November 4 release in India.

Directed by mariner Sohan Roy, the film is being distributed worldwide by Warner Bros.

The 3D movie is an Indo-UAE conceptual epic, which is an emotional thriller that speaks about a century-old dam built during the British colonial reign and the lives of nine individuals who witness the destruction of the dam, said a press statement by the producers, BIZ TV Network, UAE.

It is a movie with a social cause which describes the hazards dams can cause and creates awareness about the dangers of a dam collapse.

Dam 999 is also being released in regional Indian languages like Tamil and Telugu.

The UAE release date has however not been confirmed.
