It’s been 24 years of marriage for Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, but their love story goes beyond three decades. Khan, who celebrated his wedding anniversary with Gauri on Sunday, credits his wife’s patience and love for their successful relationship.
Khan took to Twitter to thank his fans for their wishes on his special day, and wrote: “Thanks for all your wishes. But thanks is due to Gauri, for 32 years of patience, perseverance, forgiveness, love and three beautiful kids.”
The couple first met in Delhi in 1984, and went on to marry in 1991 after a whirlwind romance.
Together, they have three children — sons Aryan and AbRam and daughter Suhana.
Gauri is an interior designer and entrepreneur who also does a line for fashion label Satya Paul.
